100% Ophthalmology @ 100% Optical 2024
Haag-Streit UK is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting on stand M240 in the 100% Ophthalmology area of 100% Optical. Some key products will be showcased, including; the Eyesi Slit Lamp simulator, Eyestar swept-source OCT & biometer, Lenstar Myopia, Solix OCT system and the BQ 900 slit lamp with IM 910 imaging.

Eyesi Slit Lamp is a high-end diagnostic training system for ophthalmologists and optometrists. Trainees can examine virtual patients with the biomicroscope, fundoscopy lens, or gonioscopy lens. The highly realistic simulation of the visualisation of intraocular structures in real-time provides a close-to-life training experience.
The BQ 900 slit lamp is the standard for those who require the most demanding slit lamp microscopy while the IM 910 imaging unit offers outstanding and expressive images at the push of a button.
The Eyestar 900 is based on future-proof technology: swept-source OCT. It provides the user with precise measurements, comprehensive topography and pachymetry maps and analysis, as well as complete cornea-to-retina biometry, keratometry and high quality, detailed cross-sectional eye images.
Lenstar Myopia is a market-leading, comprehensive solution based on the established Lenstar 900 optical biometer combined with powerful EyeSuite Myopia software.

HS-UK will be running an Eyesi Slit Lamp simulator competition on the stand, offering delegates the opportunity to test their slit lamp skills and win an exciting daily prize.
Delegates will perform a slit lamp assessment on one of eight randomly selected VR patients, which are part of the courseware on the simulator. They will need to assess both eyes for signs of cortical and nuclear cataracts. The contestant with the most accurate score in the shortest time will be the winner!

Haag-Streit Academy is sponsoring the 100% Ophthalmology Education Hub on Sunday 25th February, where renowned clinical experts will be delivering some innovative and insightful lectures on relevant and current topics:

- ‘Seeing the future: Innovations in slit lamp technology and slit lamp simulation in ophthalmology’ delivered by Ophthalmologist, Sunil Mamtora
- ‘From measurements to visual clarity: improving refractive outcomes through biometry’ delivered by Consultant Optometrist, David Sculfor

In addition, the company will be holding a VIP Simulator session in the Ophthalmology Hub on Sunday afternoon. The session will offer an opportunity to see the virtual reality simulator range in action, including the Eyesi Slit Lamp, Eyesi Surgical, Eyesi Direct Ophthalmoscope and Earsi Otoscope simulator. Attendees will be able to enjoy a glass of bubbly, have a demonstration or play on any of the Haag-Streit Simulation products.
