Yes, you can use your existing EIBOS or you can have one supplied with your new system. 

A customizable and fully-wireless bluetooth footswitch is available, as standard. This can be stored on the bottom of the METIS system. 

Yes, we have the new integrated MIOS 6 4K imaging with large storage capacity for the METIS 900.

We can supply MIOS 5 for video and picture recording, storage and editing for Hi-R NEO 900. We can also supply the Sony HD video recorder HVO-500SUR/MD.

The METIS Digital 3D Heads Up Module provides true to life 4K high contrast imaging with excellent depth perception. The brightness of the live feed can be adjusted independently of the microscope illumination to allow improved visibility of ocular structures while maintaining patient comfort. Further digital filters, zoom, and inversion can optimize visualization beyond what is capable with analogue microscopy.

Yes, METIS is a modular platform allowing upgrades at any time. For 3D HU surgery, you will require a METIS microscope + MIOS 6 + 3D Digital HU Module. The 3D Digital HU module includes the stereo camera unit, a 55” 4K 3D display, 3D glasses, the monitor floor stand, and adaption kit. 

Yes, the stereo camera unit can be removed to remount the standard binoculars. This is a simple procedure and can be done with minimal disruption to surgery if required.

No, the assistant scope does not need to be removed to use 3D HU.

No, the 3D HU module has been designed specifically for the METIS microscope to optimize visualisation. 

Yes, we supply drapes to cover the microscope and stand, with the options of long or short, plus drapes for the microscope handles only.

Our microscope engineers have all been fully-trained and accredited by Haag-Streit Surgical. The HS-UK Service Division is BSI/ISO13485 accredited, as well as having the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC Certification and FDA 21 CFR Part 820.

We can inspect and repair your equipment on an ad-hoc basis, for a one-off charge, however many customers have found the benefit in the reliability of a service contract with a reduction in downtime through preventative maintenance and guaranteed response times.
