At Haag-Streit, we understand how important it is for your clinic or practice to run seamlessly without interruption to your service. While we are proud to say that our products are the gold standard, naturally, service issues can still arise, which may lead to your equipment needing to be repaired by a service expert.

If you have an issue with your device and don’t have an existing service contract, our service engineers can come and undertake a one-off callout to give your device a full inspection and endeavour to fix the issue on-site, resulting in minimal downtime.

Advanced reconditioning service

A proactive approach to servicing your microscope

This advanced reconditioning service for your microscope offers a complete overhaul of your device. It offers a comprehensive series of checks and covers you for a variety of replacement parts. We recommend this service is carried out approximately every 5 years to maintain your microscope’s optimum performance.

Annual service contracts

Standard, Premium & Elite

When you purchase a Haag-Streit device, you are given the opportunity to add-on a service contract and benefit from fully transparent annual servicing costs. We offer three standard service contracts: Standard, Premium and Elite. Contracts include an annual service visit where a Field Service Engineer will come to your premises and undertake a full service of the equipment covered by your contract. For greater peace of mind, you can upgrade your contract to include ‘PLUS’ repair cover.

Installation service

Reliable installation to the highest standards

For us, a successful installation does not begin on site, but rather with detailed planning that takes into account the space available within your clinic or practice. If necessary, we can prepare your equipment in-house so that installation can proceed smoothly and in accordance with the manufacturer's technical guidelines.

Our experienced and certified technicians integrate the medical software into your systems – naturally in compliance with data protection legislation and in accordance with UK regulatory requirements. This ensures you have a reliable and secure basis for your daily clinical activity right from the start.

Extended Warranty

Up to five years on all Haag-Streit devices

If you are looking for a simple, cost-effective way to protect your investment, our Extended Manufacturing Warranty is the perfect option. All Haag-Streit devices are provided with a two-year warranty, as standard. Haag-Streit is now offering the option to take out an extended warranty against any manufacturing defects for up to five years, with up to ten years offered for specific solutions.

Health Check package

Avoid unforeseen defects, repairs, & costs

A Health Check visit will uncover any potential problems with a device. It can reduce the risk of future equipment failure and downtime, and costly repairs. In addition, it also ensures that the device performs in accordance with required Haag-Streit manufacturer standards and specifications.

Haag-Streit is proud to have a wide network of certified service technicians. These skilled engineers are on-hand to perform a comprehensive Health Check.

A Health Check involves a thorough audit of your Haag-Streit device to obtain a full overview of its condition, an examination of its functionality, and a quote to replace any necessary worn or damaged parts.

We can assemble and install your instruments on a bespoke basis to match your existing furniture and meet your specific needs. We will ensure that all is recalibrated and your equipment is in perfect working order before we leave.

Equipment inspection
Our engineers are happy to carry out a full equipment inspection and provide a comprehensive report detailing the general condition of equipment and repair or upgrade, where required. 

Relocation
If you need to relocate your equipment then we are here to help make the process run as smoothly as possible. We can help you uninstall the equipment, ensure it is assembled efficiently, recalibrate it, and run a complete system check to ensure it is working perfectly in its new location.
