HS-UK offers three different versions of the DRV; the DRV with zoom module for practising surgical skills, the DRV with stereo camera for use with the BQ 900 slit lamp for refining slit lamp clinical skills, and a DRV review-only station. There is an option to add a recording or reviewing PC to the above systems, allowing 3D videos and images to be recorded or reviewed on the DRV. If you would like more information on how the DRV can be set up in your practice, please contact our customer services team on 01279 883720 or sales.uk@haag-streit.com.
The DRV can be integrated with the Haag-Streit BQ 900 slit lamp. A stereo camera positioned between the slit lamp optics and eyepieces allows simultaneous viewing of the optical stereo image in the slit lamp and the digital image in the DRV.
The unique technology behind the DRV’s stereo image presentation overcomes the need for polarized glasses by projecting independent optical channels to the user’s eyes, replicating natural stereo vision and perception of depth. Offering a comfortable and natural view, the user is able to wear their prescription glasses while viewing the digital stereo 3D images.
The cost of the DRV will vary depending on which model you choose and which accessories you may need to accompany it. For advice on which model may be most suitable for you and a full quotation, please contact our customer services team on 01279 883720 or sales.uk@haag-streit.com.

Linking Devices
Using HDMI cables, link the left output of the main DRV to the left input of the other device, and link the right output to the right input.
Using a HDMI cable, link the left HDMI output to the screen you wish to use. Using the keypad, the video stream output can be changed from a single image to a 3D video stream if linking to a 3D TV/monitor.
DRV with Zoom Module & DRV with Slit Lamp Stereo Camera
The HDMI cables may not be inserted into the correct port. Check that the right HDMI on the Zoom Module is going into the right input of the DRV and the left HDMI on the Zoom Module is going into the left input of the DRV. If the cables are in the correct position and the image is still incorrect, the image can be corrected using the keypad. Press the ‘menu’ button on the keypad, open the ‘camera’ sub-menu, scroll down to vertical mirror option.
This is because the USB-C cable is not properly connected. Reconnect the cables and restart the device.
Use a clean cloth to wipe the mirror.
As the debris is on the internal display, please contact the Haag-Streit UK Service Division on 01279 883720 or servicedivision.uk@haag-streit.com for assistance.
DRV with PC/Review PC
Close the OBS. Double click the ‘Mosaic’ application on the desktop. Allow up to 30 seconds for the PC to configure the display. You will not need to click anything. Open the OBS and the image will now be visible in both eyes.
Right click the side-by-side image in the OBS, then select the ‘Fullscreen Projector (Preview)’ option and then select the DRV display.
VLC media player works best when playing back videos captured using the OBS software.
