Slit lamp training

Accelerated learning

Simultaneous viewing

Integrated with the BQ 900 slit lamp

The DRV can be used in conjunction with the Haag-Streit BQ 900 slit lamp. A stereo camera positioned between the slit lamp optics and eyepieces allows simultaneous viewing of the optical stereo image in the slit lamp and the digital image in the DRV.

3D imaging system

Unique training

Whilst mono cameras are widely used with modern slit lamps, the 2D image lacks the depth information needed during an examination. The use of a 3D slit lamp imaging system provides a high-fidelity stereoscopic system to train slit-lamp clinical skills. These training opportunities can facilitate and accelerate learning.

Innovative teaching tool

User testimony

“The quality of the DRV stereo image is superb. The high-resolution emulates the slit lamp image well, and concurrent, real-time viewing of clinical findings in true 3D for both trainee and observer is unique. What’s more, the observer doesn’t require 3D glasses to view, the DRV presents a ‘floating’ 3D image in front of the system. I have found the system very useful in illustrating common and complex pathology to Optometrists, nurses and doctors in training.” Mr Dan Lindfield, Consultant Ophthalmologist, BM MRCOphth PGCME FRCOphth.
