Laminate is characterized by very good care and usage properties. Laminate is not plastic, but consists of almost 80% paper. Paper webs impregnated with phenolic and melamine resin, one of the hardest resins, are pressed under heat and high pressure to form a homogeneous panel.
Laminate coatings are available in a wide range of plain colors and decorative wood patterns.
In Haag-Streit DOMS units, the laminate layer is applied on a multiplex or MDF panel and also features a multiplex or color-matched ABS edge.
Choice of color variants Resopal or EGGER. Laminates are resistant to scratches, light effects and liquids/disinfectants.
