100% Ophthalmology 2025
Haag-Streit UK is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting on stand E49 at 100% Ophthalmology at EXCEL, London. Some key products will be showcased, including; the Eyesi Slit Lamp simulator, Lenstar Myopia, SOLIX OCT system and the BQ 900 slit lamp with IM 910 imaging.
Equipment available for demonstration on our stand
Eyesi Slit Lamp is a high-end diagnostic training system for ophthalmologists and optometrists. Trainees can examine virtual patients with the biomicroscope, fundoscopy lens, or gonioscopy lens. The highly realistic simulation of the visualisation of intraocular structures in real-time provides a close-to-life training experience.
Eyesi Direct Ophthalmoscope simulator is a simulator that enables students to interactively examine virtual patients of varying ages and ethnicity. The simulator comes with a didactically structured curriculum, which has been designed to teach recognition of the most relevant pathologies within only a few hours.
BQ 900 slit lamp is the standard for those who require the most demanding slit lamp microscopy while the IM 910 imaging unit offers outstanding and expressive images at the push of a button.
Lenstar Myopia is a market-leading, comprehensive solution based on the established Lenstar 900 optical biometer combined with powerful EyeSuite Myopia software.
SOLIX delivers multiple tools that improve throughput and enable superior patient care. SOLIX features a FullRange field of view that is wide and deep, yet does not sacrifice image clarity or resolution.
iScan80 is a fully-integrated system which includes a full suite of retina, optic nerve and anterior segment scans. It detects the eye to be scanned, aligns the camera over the pupil and optimizes the scan signal strength.
Educational lecture
On Saturday 1st March at 3:30pm, we will be presenting a lecture in the ophthalmology theatre in collaboration with Aston University entitled, ‘Simulate to educate: 100% risk-free learning through virtual reality’, with guest speakers Professor James S. Wolffsohn & Dr Patrick Wai-Ki Ting. The lecture will discuss how Aston University is leading the way with the country’s first dedicated optometry simulation suite, and how this has benefitted students, educators and most importantly, future patients.
