Angela Masson

UK National Sales Manager

Angela is responsible for all diagnostic and surgical sales for the UK region. Angela and her team of Area Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers present our portfolio of products to consultants both in their practices and at conferences nationwide. 

Angela has been with Haag-Streit UK for 13 years. She loves working with her team and is passionate about her job. She has worked in the optical industry for 30 years and started her career in an optometry practice in 1995.

Abid Rahman

UK Area Sales Manager – East (Diagnostics team)

Abid manages sales within the East of England and parts of the Midlands. He is passionate about offering state of the art ophthalmic equipment to eyecare professionals so they can deliver exceptional service to their patients. He is a competent individual with the ability to demonstrate the use of Haag-Streit's wide range of equipment to eye care professionals. 

Abid has been with Haag-Streit UK since 2014. He previously worked at Alcon eye care and Glaxo Smith Kline. 

Outside of work, Abid likes to cycle, play snooker and finds time for cookery and fine dining.

Brian Bussey

UK Area Sales Manager – South-East (Diagnostics team)

Brian manages sales within London and the South-East.  He visits our clients, including ophthalmologists, nurses, optometrists, and business managers, to discuss their requirements and demonstrate the full range of diagnostic instruments available from Haag-Streit UK.

Prior to joining the HS-UK team in 1999, Brian worked in the contact lens care division of Allergan and was previously at a City of London Optometric Practice, dispensing and making spectacles.

Brian recently embarked on a project to refurbish his new home, a Victorian house in the East Sussex countryside.

Eoin Chisholm

UK Area Sales Manager - Scotland, Northern Ireland & the North of England (Diagnostics team)

Eoin manages sales within the North of the UK. He undertakes demonstrations of HS-UK’s large diagnostic equipment; liaises with consultants, nurses, medical engineering and finance departments; and showcases our devices at conferences. 

Eoin has 25 years of experience in the optical industry, having worked as a Dispensing Optician, a Store Manager for Vision Express, a Business Development Manager at Seiko Optical UK, and an Instrument Sales Manager at Essilor UK.

A family man, Eoin likes to spend as much time as possible with his wife, daughter and German Shepherd dog when not working.

Michelle Riley

UK Area Sales Manager – South-West (Diagnostics team)

Michelle is responsible for sales within the South-West of the UK. She demonstrates Haag Streit’s product portfolio to eye care professionals ranging from consultant ophthalmologists and optometrists, to procurement managers and clinical nurses.
 
Michelle also attends industry conferences to promote Haag-Streit products.
 
When not working Michelle enjoys cooking, music and spending time with family and friends.

Nicky Carr

UK Area Sales Manager – North (Diagnostics team)

Nicky manages sales within the northern part of England and Wales. She travels throughout her area, demonstrating the Haag-Streit UK equipment range and following up on leads and enquiries. She works to ensure customer satisfaction and assists with any clinical training requirements.

She has worked in the optical field for over 25 years, both in practice and on the road.

Nicky regularly takes part in half marathons and enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter and family.

Phil Martin

UK Senior Surgical Regional Sales Manager

Phil helps to directly manage and support the surgical sales team, as well as managing surgical product sales in the South-West, Midlands & East of England. Phil worked for John Weiss & Son from 2013 and moved to the HS-UK sales team in January 2022. 

Phil regularly carries out demonstrations in hospitals and clinics across his region, training Surgeons on the uses, features and benefits of the John Weiss instrument range. In particular, he is considered to be an expert of the iTrack Canaloplasty System. 

Phil is the current UK-wide product manager for iTrack 250a, iTrack Advance, the Eyesi Surgical Simulator, Haag-Streit Microscopes, the deep reality viewer and Keraring.

Outside of work, Phil is an avid golfer, and he loves spending time with his family.

Kevin Pitt

UK Regional Sales Manager (Surgical team) – London & South-East

Customer account management is a key part of Kevin’s role, along with initiating the sales of surgical simulators, microscopes, surgical instruments, and other parts and consumables in the Haag-Streit UK portfolio.

Kevin has over 28 years of sales and management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 14 years with Pfizer Ltd.

Outside of work, Kevin is a keen road cyclist and scuba diver.

Martin Rescorle

UK Regional Sales Manager (Surgical team) – North of England & Scotland

Martin manages the sales of Ophthalmic Surgical Instruments, microscopes, surgical simulators and the HS-UK Trusted Surgical Brands, including iTrack Advance and Keraring. 

After studying at university to be a vet, Martin gained 18 years of experience within the ophthalmic industry with a strong focus on glaucoma. Prior to joining Haag-Streit UK, he worked for Allergen and Thea, global leaders in the eye care industry.

In his spare time, Martin enjoys cycling, spending time outdoors and exploring nature.

Rob Morgan

Export Sales Manager

Rob manages the world-wide sales and distributor networks of our UK-manufactured Clement Clarke Ophthalmic product range, which includes the Perkins Mk3 and Synoptophore, and the gold standard range of John Weiss instruments and implants.

Outside of work, Rob’s life is dominated by family and sport. If he’s not kicking a football around or playing cricket, then he’s spending time with his wife and two children.
