The FEATHER standard range of surgical instruments includes; disposable scalpels, safety scalpels, surgical blades & handles and blade removers. Due to their optimised micrometre-accurate precision grinding, FEATHER standard surgical scalpels offer outstanding quality and performance.
The FEATHER ophthalmic MICRO FEATHER range provides the ultimate cutting consistency and sharpness. It includes; sideports scalpels, phaco & enlargement incisions scalpels, scalpels for tunnel incisions & preparation of flaps, and scalpels for incisions with pre-defined incision depth. Blade handles can be aluminium, plastic or Safeshield handles, with a blade type of either straight or angled.
The scalpel comes in a heat-resistant plastic box. After proper cleaning, the aluminium micro scalpel can be placed in this plastic box for re-sterilisation in the autoclave and then be reused. Scalpels with plastic handles are single-use only.
