An advanced reconditioning service for your surgical microscope

Haag-Streit UK is proud to provide a range of service contract options which enable us to maintain your microscope and support your clinicians, at your premises.

In addition to the existing service contracts we offer, we are pleased to introduce an additional Advanced Reconditioning Service for Haag-Streit microscopes. This service is available for our Hi-R NEO 900/900A, Hi-R 700 and Hi-R 1000 models of our microscope family.

A proactive approach to servicing your surgical microscope

This advanced service offers a complete overhaul of your device and takes place at our dedicated microscope facility in Wedel, Germany. It includes a comprehensive series of checks to guarantee lasting performance and safety, and you will also be covered for a relevant set of replacement parts. For peace of mind, the service will be provided by expert Haag-Streit engineers, who are fully trained and accredited to provide the highest level of service.

Depending how frequently the microscope is used and the general wear and tear, we would suggest that this extensive and specialised service is carried out approximately once every 5 years to maintain your microscope’s optimum performance. Together with our portfolio of Service Packages, including our Extended Warranty offering, Health Check, and Upgrade Kits - you have all you need to increase the lifetime of your microscope and extend your return on investment.

What is included as standard?
All Haag-Streit microscope packages are designed with the long-term needs of your microscope in mind, ensuring you get the best return on your investment. This advanced reconditioning service includes a comprehensive check of the microscope’s drive system and toothed belts to ensure performance and safety. In addition, you also benefit from a general inspection, which includes checking cables for abrasion and connectivity, a voltage test, a review of the handset functions and illumination, and a check of the settings, adjustments, and brakes to ensure the most precise results. The checklists below explain what is included for the different models.

Loan devices
To ensure that this process runs smoothly, we are happy to offer loan equipment while your microscope is being serviced, so there is minimal disruption for your patients.
