Gemma began her ophthalmic career in the NHS, working as a Specialist Ophthalmic Photographer. Over her thirteen years in the imaging department, Gemma developed a keen interest in slit lamp photography. She joined Haag-Streit UK two years ago as a Product Manager.
Haag-Streit UK product managers act as specialists for a defined product range. Gemma’s products include slit lamps, OCT and VR simulation. Gemma assists various departments within HS-UK and acts as a point of reference for products within her range. When out on the road, Gemma provides support with product training and attends events, partaking in workshops and product demonstrations. In addition to product support, she has a key focus on education and the Haag-Streit Academy. Gemma works as part of the Academy team to present live courses and bespoke training and loves to share her passion for ophthalmic imaging.
When at home, Gemma enjoys spending time with her family and going out walking, as well as arts and crafts.
