The hydrophilic group of lenses are made of acrylic material that is positioned in the capsular bag or sulcus. Type 92B cannot be injected due to its large optic size, and type 97B is a larger optic lens for highly myopic patients and for a myopic range of power.

The Bag-In-the-Lens series of IOLs include three types. Type 89A are for adults and paediatrics, type 89D are for short eyes, while type 89F are for combined cataract and vitrectomy procedures or in eyes with large pupils.
