Haag-Streit UK appoints a new General Manager

Haag-Streit UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Rod Santos in the role of General Manager.

Rod will lead the Haag-Streit UK business, with overall responsibility for its performance and the delivery of its growth strategy. His remit will include strong customer and partner engagement and leading the UK team. With previous leadership positions at Bausch + Lomb, Rayner, Zeiss, and Alcon, his breadth of experience will be a significant benefit to the UK team.

Speaking about his appointment, Anette Chauhan, Haag-Streit Chief Commercial Officer, said, “Rod brings with him more than 20 years of leadership experience in ophthalmology and medical technology. In addition to his UK experience, Rod has worked extensively across international and global markets, providing him with a broad perspective on commercial excellence, customer engagement, distributor management, and market development.
