Join Haag-Streit UK at the ‘Innovations in Glaucoma’ symposium at UKEGS 2026

Haag-Streit UK is pleased to be exhibiting at UKEGS 2026 in Manchester on 10th and 11th November. On our stand this year, we will be showcasing the METIS 900 microscope alongside the iTrack Advance MIGS device.

This year, as part of the event, we will be hosting a special ‘Innovations in Glaucoma’ morning symposium at 8am on Wednesday 11th November in Seminar Room 2. We are delighted to be joined by Consultant Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma Specialist, Neeru Vallabh, who will be presenting a talk entitled, ‘Early Interventional Glaucoma: Are We Making the Most of MIGS in the UK?’

During the morning symposium, delegates will have the chance to learn best practice for iTrack technique, explore tips and tricks for dealing with difficult anatomy and there will be an opportunity for Q&A with our glaucoma experts. All attendees will be given a Haag-Streit goody bag to take away with them.

There will be an opportunity on the stand at the event to take part in dry labs to gain hands-on experience with the METIS microscope and iTrack Advance. Designed with the glaucoma surgeon in mind, the METIS 900 features a motorised tilt which effortlessly positions your viewing angle. An innovative adaptation to the binoculars allows one-handed repositioning with a sterile cover for smooth and effortless workflow for MiGS procedures.

The iTrack Advance has recently been updated to feature innovative ‘Shear Clear™ Technology’, a new approach which transforms cohesive viscoelastic through shear force into a low-viscosity fluid during canaloplasty, enabling it to circulate more freely and penetrate deeper into the trabecular outflow pathway. They have also introduced a green guide light, which makes the light far more visible as it travels through the Schlemms canal.
