Haag-Streit UK to offer hands-on dry lab opportunity at UKEGS 2026

Haag-Streit UK is pleased to be exhibiting at UKEGS 2026 in Manchester. On our stand this year, we will be showcasing the METIS 900 microscope alongside the iTrack Advance MIGS device.

This year, as part of the event, we will be offering an opportunity to take part in an iTrack Advance dry lab training session at 8am on Wednesday 11th November. Delegates will have the chance to gain hands-on experience with the iTrack, learn best practice for iTrack technique and explore tips and tricks for dealing with difficult anatomy. All attendees will be given a Haag-Streit goody bag to take away with them.

For those unable to attend the morning session, we will have the iTrack Advance and the new METIS microscope available on the stand. Designed with the glaucoma surgeon in mind, the METIS 900 features a motorised tilt which effortlessly positions your viewing angle. An innovative adaptation to the binoculars allows one-handed repositioning with a sterile cover for smooth and effortless workflow for MiGS procedures.

The iTrack Advance has recently been updated to feature innovative ‘Shear Clear™ Technology’, a new approach which transforms cohesive viscoelastic through shear force into a low-viscosity fluid during canaloplasty, enabling it to circulate more freely and penetrate deeper into the trabecular outflow pathway. They have also introduced a green guide light, which makes the light far more visible as it travels through the Schlemms canal.
