Haag-Streit Academy announces course schedule for 2026

Haag-Streit UK is pleased to announce the Haag-Streit Academy course schedule for 2026.

Haag-Streit Academy will be hosting eight slit lamp and biometry courses across the UK next year. The courses are a mix of knowledge-rich lectures and hands-on workshops, enabling attendees to practise their ophthalmic and optometry skills using Haag-Streit equipment. Attendees find the workshops to be incredibly useful. Ophthalmologists and optometrists rarely find the time to practise these skills in clinic, so the workshops offer an opportunity to use slit lamp or biometry equipment in a relaxed and supported environment.

Guest speaker and Consultant Ophthalmologist Sunil Mamtora will present lectures at the slit lamp courses, while Consultant Ophthalmologist, Peter Wilson will present lectures at the biometry courses. Haag-Streit Product Managers will also be on hand to answer questions and assist with product demonstrations. The courses have been approved by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists for 6 CPD points per day.

26th & 27th March 2026

3rd & 4th June 2026
Slit Lamp Basic and Advanced Skills Courses – Haag-Streit Academy HQ, Bishop’s Stortford.

5th & 6th June 2026
‘Improving Outcomes’ Biometry Course – Measurement Essentials and Improving Outcomes Biometry Course – Clinical Decisions & Management – Haag-Streit Academy HQ, Bishop’s Stortford.

22nd & 23rd October 2026
Slit Lamp Basic and Advanced Skills Course – The Village Hotel, Warrington.
