Absorbable punctal plugs

For decades, punctal occlusion has been a recognised therapy for managing and alleviating symptoms associated with ocular surface disorders. Lacrivera's VeraPlug range is manufactured from silicone and is available in multiple sizes, for various sized punctal openings.

VeraPlug

VeraPlug, with its low-profile dome design, enhances patient comfort and conforms perfectly to the puncta for unparalleled retention. Its propriety shaft design provides easy insertion and proper anatomic fit.

VeraPlug Flow

VeraPlug Flow is designed to provide a simple and effective means of slowing tear drainage. The inner channel reduces but does not eliminate tear flow, providing only partial occlusion.

VeraPlug FlexFit

VeraPlug FlexFit is designed for simple sizing, patient comfort and retention. The FlexFit nose design provides easy insertion and superior retention with a low-profile dome for excellent patient comfort.

Vera180

Vera180 is a synthetic absorbable lacrimal plug that provides extended temporary occlusion lasting approximately six months. It is ideal for the treatment of post-surgical dry eye and to determine the potential effectiveness of a non-absorbable punctal plug.
